Raiden IV (Xbox 360)

Going with back to back shoot 'em ups today with some pics of Raiden IV tonight.  I don't think I'll be making a habit of putting up picks for current gen consoles because it's a royal pain in the behind to do with my current setup.  Maybe every now and then, but that's about it.  Anyway, this game is pretty decent fun.  Good controls, plenty of enemies to blow up.  I wouldn't go so far as to call it a bullet hell shooter, but things can get pretty hectic at times.  It is kind of annoying that the other ships are hidden behind DLC, though.

Zeno Clash (PC)

This is a very unusual game with strange, surreal visuals, and a confusing story, yet it's also strangely interesting.  Zeno Clash is filled with odd-looking creatures, and a pre-industrial punk-like sensibility.  It's a first person action game where you spend a lot of your time punching and kicking enemies, though there are still times where you can use firearms.  The game is very short (only 4-ish hours), but it certainly is an experience.

Shatter (PC)

Usually I'm not a big fan of these Arkanoid / Breakout clones, but Shatter is pretty darn fun.  I think the game's music helps a lot with this.
